Storyteller
Angelina has always been a storyteller. Her storytelling takes the form of the written, as well as, the spoken word.
Angelina’s first book, The Little Pink Book of Feminine Leadership: A Personal Journey was published in February 2006. The book tells the story of how in 2002, Angelina staged one of the most successful benefit performances of The Vagina Monologues. That nine- month journey would prove to be a birthing process, the birthing of her feminine leadership qualities and the quieting of her masculine leadership qualities. Her talks on Feminine Leadership include Feminine Leadership: The Two Faces of Leadership©, The Balance of Differences and the Union of Separates©, Violence Against Women: Then and Now©, and Feminine Leadership and the Enneagram: What the Demon Demands of You©.
Angelina has also been asked to speak about the Enneagram, an ancient tool for personal growth with practical modern application. She has taught the Enneagram, as well as, has used it as a meditative practice for 25 years.
In 2025 Angelina was asked to be a Global Ambassador for the International Enneagram Association (IEA). In that role, she hopes to strengthen the connections with the IEA’s international affiliates, helping the IEA grow through shared wisdom, cultural insights, and mutual learning.
Angelina teaches the Enneagram thru the lens of the Repressed Centers, an approach she learned more than 30 years ago from Kathleen Hurley and Theodorre Donson, pioneers in this approach. She augments her work with the teachings of Michael J. Goldberg, another pioneer in the field of the Enneagram. Angelina is a Hurley Donson Certified Enneagram teacher. She is currently writing a book about entitled Feminine Leadership and The Enneagram: What the Demon Demands of You©.
Having spent 25 years providing Strategic Planning services for organizations, Angelina has been asked to deliver keynote addresses and seminars on Strategic Planning. Her clients include UNC Charlotte, The Employers Association, Bank of America, and Arts and Science Council. Her articles on the topic include If You Don’t Know Where you are Going, Any Road Will Get You There.
Given her passion for sustainable living, Angelina and her then-husband built one of the first Platinum Level LEED certified homes and one of the first NAHB Gold Level Homes in North Carolina in 2010. She is often asked to speak about her experience.
In addition, Angelina, has used the spoken word to express two unique aspects of her life. Her first spoken-word piece is entitled Soulmates. It is the heart-wrenching story of the life and death of her ex-husband from AIDS in 1991. Her second piece is entitled I Will Always Love You, the amazing story of the death of her twin brother, in utero at three months, and her miraculous birth at full-term and how the experience has shaped every aspect of her life.
In The Little Pink Book of Feminine Leadership Angelina suggests “Take from my story what you want and discard the rest. Listen for your truth and dismiss what is false for you. Share with others what is relevant and ignore what is not. Be true to yourself. And, most importantly, tell your own story.”
Angelina continues to write and shares her stories with audiences everywhere.
